ARF is an animal welfare organization that services the town of Rincon, Puerto Rico that began 14 years ago in the face of a sad incident. It was started by a handfull of devoted volunteers that would rescue and find homes for dogs and cats. Since then, it has evolved to focus on eradicating animal overpopulation. Hence, its year-round low-cost spay/neuter voucher program. It also hosts special one-day Health Day community events where a regional vet administers vaccinations while ARF volunteers schedule spay/neuter appointments. In 2010, ARF services over 730 dogs and cats!
